After an early break fast proceed to Thekkady another beautiful destination. You will be driving through majestic mountain ranges with tea gardens forming a thick green blanket on the rolling hills. Reach Thekkady check into the hotel. Go on a boat safari in the Periyar Tiger Reserve for a chance sighting of wild animals in their natural habitat. Return from safari and the spend the evening watching Kathakali and Kalaripayattu the traditional dance and marshal art forms of Kerala. Evening is free for shopping mementos, spices and artefacts. Over night stay in Thekkady.
