The  sanctuaries have given place to  National Parks with special focus on a particular species namely Tiger, Elephant and sloth Bear. This has increased the population of a particular species. The National Parks are protected from public movement to make way for free movement of the animals.

The National Parks are divided into zones namely core zone, buffer zone and tourism zone for easy administration and to record the movement of animals for research.

The governments are earmarking large amounts for the National Parks to protect and preserve the animals.
