Mahabaleshwar
Mahabaleshwar is a beautiful hill station in the Satara district of Maharashtra state in India. It is a beautiful plateau surrounded by valleys on all sides. located at an elevation of 4,439 feet MSL Mahabaleshwar is well known for the strawberry farms. It accounts for around 85% of the production of strawberry in India. It is not only famous for the strawberry farms, but also for beautiful valleys, water falls and scenic beauty.

By train- Even though Wathar is the nearest railway station at 63 km, Pune with connections to major cities is the ideal railway station to visit. The frequency of buses are more.
By road- It can easily be reached by road either from Pune 120 km or Mumbai 245 km.

It can be visited in all the seasons like summer winter and monsoon, Winter months between November and March is ideal to visit Mahabaleshwar. The summers just before the onset of monsoon will be a little hot with 32’C but it is better than most other places in India that reaches 40′-45′ C. The monsoon months paints the valley green that gives a mesmerizing sight.
